Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Entebbe

  • Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be met by our representative.
  • Transfer to your hotel in Entebbe for overnight accommodation.
  • Optional: Evening walk by Lake Victoria.

Day 2Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Early morning drive southwards towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Stop at Kyamwilu Hills for a panoramic view of Uganda’s rolling hills and lush landscapes.
  • Continue the journey and arrive in Bwindi in the late afternoon.
  • Check-in at your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening.
  • Overnight in Bwindi.

Day 3Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

  • Breakfast at the lodge.
  • Early morning transfer to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking adventure. This life-changing experience will have you trekking through dense jungle vegetation to find the endangered mountain gorillas.
  • Spend one hour with the gorillas, observing their behavior and taking unforgettable photos.
  • After the trek, enjoy a delicious lunch and an optional visit to the Buhoma village to learn about the local community.
  • Overnight in Bwindi.

Day 4Bwindi to Kibale National Park

  • Breakfast and depart from Bwindi, driving to Kibale National Park, known for having one of the highest concentrations of primates in the world.
  • Stop for lunch along the way before continuing the drive to Kibale.
  • Overnight at a lodge near Kibale.

Day 5Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale

  • Early morning breakfast.
  • Head to Kibale’s chimpanzee trekking starting point for a thrilling walk in the forest, where you will observe these playful and intelligent primates.
  • Spend one hour with the chimpanzees, watching them forage, play, and interact in their natural environment.
  • After the trek, relax with a hot lunch and explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a great spot for birdwatching.
  • Overnight in Kibale.

Day 6Kibale to Jinja

  • Breakfast at the lodge, then embark on a scenic drive to Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital, located on the shores of Lake Victoria.
  • Upon arrival, take a brief orientation to your rafting and bungee jumping experience.
  • For those who seek an adrenaline rush, enjoy white-water rafting on the mighty River Nile, known for its challenging rapids and stunning scenery.
  • Alternatively, take a bungee jump off the Nile High Camp bridge, overlooking the powerful river below.
  • Overnight in Jinja.

Day 7Jinja Adventure and Return to Entebbe

  • Enjoy a morning activity of choice, such as a boat trip to the Source of the Nile or a visit to the Jinja Market for a local experience.
  • Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive back to Entebbe.
  • Check-in to your hotel in Entebbe for a relaxing evening.
  • Overnight in Entebbe.

Day 8Departure

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Depending on your flight time, you may have the opportunity for a quick visit to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or a walk along the lake.
  • Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your flight home.
