Arrive at Entebbe International Airport or any other preferred arrival point.
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi via scenic road. The journey takes around 7-8 hours, but you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Uganda’s rolling hills and valleys.
Check-in at your lodge or accommodation on the lake. Spend the evening at leisure, enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Overnight at your chosen accommodation.

After breakfast, embark on a guided boat ride across Lake Bunyonyi. Visit several of the lake’s 29 islands, including the famous Punishment Island, where unmarried pregnant girls were once abandoned.
Enjoy birdwatching as the lake is home to over 200 bird species. This is a bird lover’s paradise, with opportunities to spot rare species such as the grey-crowned crane, herons, and kingfishers.
Visit one or two of the local islands and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.
Return to your accommodation in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, take part in a guided community visit to one of the local villages surrounding the lake.
Engage with the villagers, learning about their traditional lifestyles and customs. Participate in a cultural activity such as traditional cooking, basket weaving, or music performances.
Enjoy a traditional lunch with the locals, experiencing authentic Ugandan cuisine, and perhaps even learning how to prepare it yourself.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic nature walk around the lake’s edges, taking in the stunning views and natural beauty of the area.
Return to your lodge in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, enjoy some last-minute relaxation or a stroll around the lakeside.
Depending on your departure time, you can either take part in a short walk or boat ride before heading back to the city for your flight or onward journey.
Transfer back to Entebbe or your chosen location for departure.
